- Gerhard Huber added a new meal Lunch at Lido 84 at Lido 84
Most likely one of the best pasta places you can eat. Extended menu, fully loaded with everything they had that day. A wonderful lunch sitting lakeshore side while indulging into the artistry of the chef. A repeat a must as soon as possible.

The very convenient a la carte menu gives you plenty of choices to pick from. The food is deeply rooted in Austrian tradition with even dishes like goulash and Wiener Schnitzel as a choice, it is unashamed modern in technique and plating. The tasting profile is restraint, but very subtle and flavourful. The execution is flawless and perfect, no wonder as the Chef who prepares the goulash does it now for over 20 years without changing the recipe.
The front office is managed by Mrs. Reitbauer herself with casual efficiency and provides the diner with almost Japanese hospitality. The wait staff can answer competently any question about the bread trolly which contains more then 30 choices or the cheese trolly with even more. The sommelier understands quickly what you are looking for and suggest appropriate choices.
A great delight to spend part of the afternoon there and enjoy the great food. Less

Great meal at KF. Since my last visit three years ago it really upped its game. The reward came in the form of the second star from the Guide Michelin.

Most of the dishes were perfectly calibrated and executed. It is a pity that a freshwater fish just don’t have taste, flavour and texture of a sea fish. On the other hand it is commendable that KF sources and uses local fishes for his dishes.
There were two outstanding dishes, The freshwater eel and the langoustine from Croatia. Intensity of the flavour of the smoked eel combined with the pork stock was unbelievable. The langoustines perfectly executed and in the texture as good as any langoustines from the Irish sea.
Very delightful meal in the world deserve 2 star restaurant with two 3 star dishes. Less

Fantastic collaboration dinner between Francesco Ibba from La Boettga and one of the up- and coming stars in Italy, Giuliano Baldessari from the restaurant Agua Crua.
I am not a great fan of collaboration dinners as usually the only show the worst of both Chefs as both ego and logistics interferes. Not so this time!

Some extraordinary dishes, some of them challenging and displaying great technique like the meat at the beginning of the meal.
I cannot wait to taste both Chefs by themselves. Less

Strong performance of the 3rd Mitani restaurant. Neta top quality and correctly aged and seasoned. Shari could have a little higher acidity.
All in great place to bring a group of people.

Local Italian with an incredible selection and well executed food. Not quite “Italian” but close.

Fairly new French-Japanese Fusion restaurant delivering some stunning dishes.
The cold Hot-Pot (!) is a super creative application of innovation which actually works (unlike some others). The same taste in the mouth without the heat, pure genius.

The main, a deer from Hokkaido in pepper sauce. I recently became a convert to Hokkaido deer. They are farmed there and thus killed without creating any stress to the animal, the Ikejime equivalent for land animals. So soft and tasty with a slight hind of savage. Excellent.
A perfect front-office delivers competent and friendly service. Go for the cheese trolley and be patient for the Patisseriere to come and entertain you with her creations which are wonderful without loading you at the end of the meal with sugar. Less
