This restaurant is highly praised by Goonji from Ajihiro as "one of a kind." I have always wanted to visit, and finally, after 10 years, my dream has come true!First of all, the tableware and presentation of the dishes are stunning. The interior is also lovely. The food is prepared with great care.I was amazed by the texture of the conger eel. The slices were cut thicker than at most top-tier restaurants, and the preparation was flawless. The Korean conger eel was truly delicious.Additionally, the locally sourced abalone was just as flavorful as the finest abalone from Bōsō.The grilled eel was a delight, with a crispy skin and tender flesh that brought me to tears!I was so impressed that I made a reservation for the herring season as well. When in Hokkaido, I usually think of dishes like Genghis Khan and sushi, which often influence my restaurant choices. I stumbled upon this place close to my hotel and decided to give it a try. While the dishes weren't particularly unique, they were classic and made with local ingredients, showcasing the depth of Sapporo's culinary scene.
I visited the restaurant the day before my golf outing in Hokkaido. It's a Japanese cuisine restaurant that uses seasonal ingredients and local produce from Hokkaido, located in a quiet area adjacent to Nakajima Park. The dishes are traditional, but the gentle flavors were truly delightful. I would love to visit again.
The restaurant has a house-like atmosphere, and as you go up the stairs, you find a counter and private rooms. This time, we chose a private room, and since we visited at a quiet time, it felt almost like a private reservation, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious moment focused on the food. Each dish was of exceptional quality, standing out from the rest, and I was truly impressed by the carefully crafted cuisine.

Wonderful start to the Japan skiing and foodie tour with a traditional Kaiseki meal at the new location of Masaki Yamamoto's restaurant in Sapporo.
Very light, fragrant, seasonal dishes in a hypermodern new building with one private room, one small counter for four and 2 tables.
