The Chef gets better and better. I have been there now several times in the last three years, but I believe this was the best meal.
Unfortunately, there is a no-photo policy in place, which I think as ridiculous, especially when dining in the private room, but they claim that their guest are too distracted by shooting photos when they should be focusing on the meal.
Obviously another decision based on the excesses of a few, alas.

Yarn changed the policy and does not allow any photos. You are not even allowed to take out your phone.
The menu has evolved from my first few times there. The Chef has a great humor as it plays word games on the menu to figure out what you will get.
It is excellent Japanese fusion food, with some but not many Western influences.
Very entertaining, very flavorful and highly recommendable.

My favorite Spanish Japanese fusion restaurant.

Japanese Spanish fusion restaurant, both husband and wife could worked in Spain and therefore could speak Spanish.
The ingredients are mostly sourced from Ishikawa but the composition of the dishes clearly influenced by their experience in Spain.
Very pleasant lunch with super interesting dishes which all were very tasty.

At first we just exchanged greetings in broken Japanese/English, but once we realized Chef Yoneda-san spoke Spanish, there was no longer a language barrier. Love these moments! ? (Yes, there’s a beautiful olive tree in the center of the restaurant!)
