"This is the mallard that wants to be a ribeye steak", my companion said about this piece of beautifully flame grilled wild duck and I didn't disagree. The perfectly juicy and tender meat was accompanied by preserved cherries, beets and a wonderful cream of mallard liver. Excellent main course by @christoffersoerensen_studio @studiocph

A couple of months ago, a posted a picture of @alan.g.bates 's wonderful vol-au-vent with lobster. Last week, I had the pleasure of enjoying this vegetarian version with mushrooms that was fantastic too

The snacks from last weekend's gourmet take-away by @alan.g.bates and his team @studiocph - tiny tarts with smoked trout, trout roe and dashi gel as well as grilled sourdough bread with chicken liver mousse and radicchio. Very tasty indeed!
