Rib-eye of local beef served with sautéed figs. The sweet and sour taste of the figs worked very well with the umami-rich dry-aged meat @restaurantludwigvan in Vienna .

I'm a former home of Beethoven in Vienna, the restaurant @restaurantludwigvan ludwigvan cooks nothing but touristy food. Instead, they serve a super sharp, modern version of the Viennese cuisine with few, well-chosen ingredients, for instance these baked Jerusalem artichokes with dried grapes. Ludwig Van is not to be missed when in Vienna .

Walter Leidenfrost in the kitchen cooks interesting dishes with unusual combinations.
The pumpkin dish with egg yolk is an excellent example. The combination of cheese, pumpkin and an egg yolk paired with enough acidity of the broth create a wonderful dish which just makes you happy.
The old cow could be served in this quality in an asador in the Basque country.
All of this a prices which you really will like,
