Kyo-ryori dinner at Imoto

Surprised to find such a nice place for kyo-ryori in Fukuoka. The flavors were so subtle and elegant, so clean. A lot more vegetables than your average kaiseki meal. So happy.

Imoto 井本 1st visit — loved the karasumi mochi, abalone & bamboo shoot soup and it was lovely to see some early spring mountain vegetables on the menu. Amazing sake selection too! •

A little but under the radar kaiseki restaurant. However it is a Chef’s choice for Monday lunch and/or dinner. That by itself gives it away.
Great ingredients, perfect execution and great flavor combinations.
Imoato san also excels in hospitality.
