- Peter Chang added a new meal Dinner at Andō at Andō
A last-minute change from a red wine-focused dinner probably meant some substitution in the dishes, but we still got a few that would have worked very well with red wine.
Standout dishe were the braised tripe with trotter tendons, and the mikan dessert.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Lunch at Andō at Andō
Invited to try the latest menu after a few months of being away.
The fideuá is always a good idea, and today it was made with mushrooms and came with tons of truffle shaved on top. Difficult not to like.
The kinki was pretty nicely done, and the caldoso rice with carabinero is a sure winner.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Quiet dinner at Yong Fu at Yong Fu
A meal here is always a pleasurable affair, and Chef Liu Zhen is always creating new dishes to challenge us and pushes the boundaries of what defines Ningbo cuisine.
Tonight we had to have it kosher, so the kitchen did a fantastic job removing any offending ingredient, which is quite a challenge!

Finally got to have the crispy chicken, which has become a signature of the restaurant. The 9-year-old lily bulb is always a highlight, too.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Dinner at Wagyu Mafia at Wagyu Mafia
My first visit to Wagyumafia. I had little interest in this place as it seemed more about the show, and that definitely turned out to be the case. Every dish was presented with fanfare, and that got annoying very quickly.
However, that's not to say that the food wasn't delicious. It was fairly good, although some of the dishes were a little meh.

The climax of the wagyu sando came with a big sprinkle of gold foil which went all over the place.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Dinner at Locanda at Locanda dell' Angelo
A nice meal at a place always reliable for good Italian fare. We expected the carabinero pasta to be delicious, but it was the pigeon - and the leg wrapped in speck - that really surprised us.

A light dinner - by Caprice standards - for our wedding anniversary. Chef Guillaume whipped up a few seasonal dishes, which included a modified version of the caviar and potatoes, with scallop this time.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Dinner at The Chairman at The Chairman
Taking friends visiting from Paris to this famous establishment for the first time.
Of course we had the steamed flowery crab, plus the smoked goose, and the signature char siu. This time we also had a new dish that was created after Asia's 50 Best in Seoul earlier in the year, with pine nut 'gazpacho'.

My first visit, after hearing about it boasting the best roast suckling pig since the chef moved here from Seventh Son.
The pig did not disappoint. It was, in fact, the best one I have ever had in all my years of having the suckling pig at Fook Lam Moon, Seventh Son, and now this place.

The stewed beef brisket was really, really good, too. Really happy with this simple and classic dish.

We had fewer people show up for this dinner, so that meant more suckling pig for the rest of us who did come. Very happy for that.
The other dishes were pretty decent, and we had some classic dishes that have become comfort food for me.
