Played host to the owner of an Australian winery and introduced them to some classic Cantonese food. Too bad we didn't fix the venue earlier, or we could have pre-ordered a few special dishes.

Prawn toast, sweet and sour pork, chicken with shrimp paste... all delicious. As was the braised ox tail, which is a signature here.

Would have rated the meal higher but one of the dishes failed.

A dinner with overseas friends that came 3 years too late. Very happy to have brought them to one of my favorite Cantonese restaurants, and show them some classic dishes where the execution is second to none.

Stuffed crab shell and stuffed chicken wings are a must, and I need to remember to pre-order the wing with bird's nest in the future.

Wine service from Jacky is impeccable as always.

Taking Gerhard for some dim sum at a Michelin 3-star restaurant. Quality is very high, with some old school dishes not easily found these days.

Casual dinner with friends over a few bottles of wine, and we enjoy coming here because of the wine service. Lots of different dishes were ordered, and most of them very classic in terms of Cantonese cuisine. None of it very expensive as we skipped the big five of fine, abalone, sea cucumber, bird's nest, and fish maw.

We asked sommelier Jacky to recommend dishes that would go well with the wines we brought to the restaurant, and he did a fairly good job.

The local lobster was fresh and delicious, and I learned that the braised ox tail is a signature dish and must be ordered. The baked crab shell is always delicious, too.

A very good dim sum lunch with the visiting parents, ordering some very old school items seldom seen at other restaurants these days - such as the dumplings with slices of pork trip on top.

Hairy crab season means there are items filled with hairy crab roe, which is always a plus.

A "casual" get together at a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars. Ordered a bunch of the classics, but that stuffed chicken wing was just fantastic!

A lovely dim sum lunch where almost all the dishes were so well executed that they were best-in-class.

The exception was the taro dumpling, which sadly gave a taste of baking soda right at the end.

A wonderful dinner at Forum, my first after not being here for more than a decade.

The menu was arranged by my friend who worked with the sommelier based on the wines we were bringing. We pre-ordered quite a few specialties, including items stuffed with foie gras. Those were especially delicious.

Wine service by Jacky was impeccable.

My first time having dim sum here. Excellent and interesting choices that are on the creative side are available, as well as some very old school items seldom seen at other places.

They even had a steamed dumpling coming in at HKD 200 per dumpling. It was nice, but not sure I can justify ordering it again.

Sweet and sour pork was most excellent.
