Pinot night. WOT: 02 Bizot — clear Bizot style with the spicy stemy whole bunch character, fresh nose, very good density and complexity for an almost 20 years old village. Also interesting to try 2 Grands Echezeaux 20 years apart. Lucien le Moine was powerful and meaty, lacking some finesse; Mongeard was a bit over the hill, overwhelmingly tertiary.

Also interesting to try 2 Grands Echezeaux 20 years apart. Lucien le Moine was powerful and meaty, lacking some finesse; Mongeard was a bit over the hill, overwhelmingly tertiary.

Visit to the master of ageing fish, some of it more than 50 days. Going completely about the myth that sushi is better then fresher it is, he ages all fish and concentrates on fish which is a little bit off the beaten track. No maguro, o toro or Chu toro will be served in this restaurants.
It is a eye opening experience to eat fish aged that long. Try it!
