For me who I eat with contribute to half of the dining experience, so for all my best meals in the past and in the future, I have to thank my companions. Bonus never hurts when there is a delivery of homemade snack, famous Tea Leaf Egg 茶葉蛋 made by @meatchelin ‘s mama. Mama level food is always the best food you can find. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️

(SWIPE FOR MORE PICS) Lapmei 臘味, our preserved meat culture in Chinese cuisine. In winter particularly we are always using lap mei, most commonly with claypot rice. Our rice at Seventh Son came with 臘鴨 preserved duck (middle), 臘腸preserved sausage (the reddish ones on the upper right) 膶腸 preserved liver sausage (the dark ones on the lower right) and 臘肉 preserved pork meat (leftmost). Looking so irresistible as the meat and sausages all looked firm but glistening with oil.

3 days after last visit, back for a big feast at lunch, with lots of dim sum items plus the mandatory roast suckling pig... and even a whole roast goose.

Four of us tried to take down a whole roast suckling pig and a plate of "gold coin chicken" - layers of cured pork fat, chicken liver, and barbecued pork.

Best suckling pig ever at Seventh Son in Hong Kong! We’ve wanted to try it for a long time and it blew away all expectations. This restaurant is by the seventh son of the legendary Fook Lam Moon family. Everything is top notch - great food, great service, and great atmosphere. It's worth flying from the other side of the planet just to come back and try the suckling pig again.

Another meal at my go-to fine dining Cantonese restaurant, this time with Goh-san from La Maison de la Nature Goh and Kawate-san from Florilege. Obviously the pig had to be ordered, and some classic dishes as well as dim sum.

Third lunch with Master guide Peter K in as many days, this time back in Hong Kong with a nice group which included Gaggan Anand and his family.
And of course we had to order the suckling pig, which was entirely different from the Macau versions as it did not have rice on the inside. The skin has perfectly crispy with the prefect few millimetres of fat sticking to it.
Not as good as Jade Dragon, Seventh Son delivered an excellent lunch with a seedling endless succession of dishes.
