Dinner at Sushi Ryouri Ichitaka (鮨料理一高)

I love Meizan Kimiya in Kagoshima, run by two brothers. Now it turns out that there are more Kimiya brothers. One of them, the oldest, owns a sushi restaurant in Fukuoka with the same name as their father’s, Ichitaka.
This place is very traditional and sources the fish only from the Kyushu area. The style is more classic Edomae than Kyushu style. Some nigiri are excellent, I love the Ika and the shiroamadai. His uni maki tasted extraordinary.
A great place at a kind price point.
