Premium Tongue, Special Outside Skirt, Top Blade, Tri-Tip, Premium Mountain Chain Tripe, Premium Loin, Oi Kimchi, Namul, Beef Offal Stew, and Eggplant! The quality of the meat is simply outstanding. The Outside Skirt, Top Blade, and Tri-Tip have a texture that makes you wonder how meat can be this tender, making it impossible to stop eating rice.Meanwhile, the tongue has a satisfying chewiness, and each type of meat is served in its best condition. And the incredible flavors extend beyond just the meat.You... Today, my friends and I arrived at 1:30 PM, aiming to be the first group in for the 3 PM opening. Usually, we would go for the second round, but surprisingly, there were only five people ahead of us, so we easily got in for the first round! ✨As always, the yakiniku at Stamina En was absolutely delicious! The mixed horumon was especially tasty.
It's been 3 years since my last visit. For some reason, my previous review disappeared, so here I am again.Overall, prices have gone up, but I think that's understandable. In fact, this restaurant does not disappoint at this price point.Since it was a weekday, I started lining up around 2 PM and was the third in line. There were a few more people who joined the line, but even after opening, there were still seats available, so I think arriving 20-30 minutes before opening on a weekday would be fine.If... It cuts easily with your lips.Even the regular Beef Tongue is enjoyable, but the premium Beef Tongue is incredibly crispy and the best! Also, the Kimchi has a nice tang to it, so those who like it will really enjoy it! The Kaktugi is mild!I realized I prefer the Gukbap over the Komtang soup.I will definitely come back soon!!It was a great meal! (* ˊ꒳ˋ*) Less

With no nearby places to kill time, I decided to go straight in.【Order】 Here’s what I ordered: - Premium Tongue - Premium Outside Skirt - Mixed Horumon - Salted Liver - Premium Lean Beef - Salted Beef Offal Stew - Kakuteki (Radish Kimchi) - Rice The meat at Stamina En is generally quite substantial. You really feel like you’re getting a chunk of meat. The seasoning and preparation are also excellent, making it easy to enjoy. The Premium Tongue is thick, well-seasoned, and delicious. The Premium Outside Skirt is also thick and satisfying. The Mixed Horumon was enjoyed with a salt seasoning, and the more I chewed, the more flavorful it became. The Salted Liver was served with a garlic soy sauce, which was also tasty. The Salted Beef Offal Stew seemed to have a hint of yuzu pepper, adding a lovely aroma and flavor. This was delicious and paired well with rice. I found myself wanting more. The Premium Lean Beef was thick, tender, and well-marbled, making it easy to eat and incredibly delicious. I could definitely eat more of this. You really feel like you’re enjoying quality meat.It was a bit disappointing that there were no fresh vegetables on the menu, but I thoroughly enjoyed the meat and Horumon. I was highly satisfied with the portion sizes and found the cost performance to be exceptional. I definitely want to go back! Less
We enjoyed a feast with Premium Outside Skirt, Premium Tongue, Mixed Horumon, Seared Heart, Gom Tang Soup, and Tegguk Tang Soup, along with Kakuteki, shared among five people. The Mixed Horumon was flavorful without any strong aftertaste, and all the meats were tender and delicious.
I lined up in the blazing sun from 1 PM on Saturday! The owner greeted us with a smile and answered our questions about the queue! By the time we entered at 3 PM, not all the seats were filled, so maybe arriving right at opening time would have been fine? The kakuteki (radish kimchi) was absolutely to my liking! I wonder if they dry it a bit?The meat felt a bit pricey.

It had been about 5 years since my last visit. I arrived at 3 PM and waited in the sweltering heat, finally getting in during the first round. I like to think that this waiting time only enhances the taste of the beer.Orders: Appetizers, Horumon, and various cuts of meat.Everything was delicious!! First, the kimchi arrived. The balance of sourness and spiciness was perfect. The mixed horumon had no unpleasant odor and was definitely a highlight. It seems to be fresh and carefully prepared.
I was taken to a highly recommended yakiniku restaurant by a friend. The horumon (offal) was completely different from anything I've had before—by far the most delicious! There was no unpleasant odor, and I could eat as much as I wanted. The tongue had a nice chewy texture, and I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Finally, I had some gukbap (rice soup) and left the restaurant feeling perfectly satisfied. I hope to come back again!

There was no off-putting smell, making it easy for even those who don't usually eat a lot of horumon to enjoy. The liver was fresh and had a beautiful color, and when grilled, it was rich in flavor. On a hot summer day, I enjoyed a Super Dry along with a selection of delicious vegetables, including a platter of bean sprouts, namul, kakuteki kimchi, simmered eggplant, and grilled green peppers, which were all fantastic. As for the meat, it goes without saying that the heart sashimi, which could easily be served as an appetizer at a fine dining restaurant, was delightful. I also had premium tongue, premium outside skirt, and lean cuts, which were heavenly when paired with delicious rice. To top it off, I enjoyed premium tripe, sweetbread, and mixed horumon with a refreshing lemon sour. ✨ If I have the time, I would love to treat myself to this place at least once every six months. On a Saturday in late July, I visited this sacred Yakiniku spot with my usual group of five for our annual summer pilgrimage. This marks our fourth visit.Located in Adachi Ward, Kameido, this Yakiniku restaurant is known for being reservation-free and always having a line, earning it the titles of "the holy land of Yakiniku" and "legendary," attracting meat lovers from all over the country.Founded around 1967, the restaurant was established by Hisahiro Toyoshima and his mother, inspired by a relative's suggestion, after their family ran a butcher shop. In 1973, Hisahiro's younger brother, Masanobu Toyoshima, joined the restaurant at the age of 15, and for over half a century, they have maintained the uncompromising taste in the same building and location in Kameido since its inception.A unique feature of this restaurant is that it does not take reservations; anyone who wants to eat their meat must wait in line, regardless of their status. This fair and straightforward artisan spirit is the reason for not having a reservation system. We arrived at 12:10 and were the third group in line. As usual, we prepared folding chairs, sunscreen, an umbrella, hats, cold towels, and water, waiting until the 3 PM opening. While waiting, we were asked for our initial orders, so we requested the limited items and salt-based dishes, knowing we could add sauce-based dishes later. At exactly 3 PM, the restaurant opened, and the five of us were seated at a spacious table on the right side of the entrance, which was a great spot. Our order included:(Appetizers)- Kimchi- Heart Sashimi- Stewed Offal (Salt and Miso)- Rice(Salt-based)- Premium Tongue- Premium Outside Skirt- Liver(Sauce-based)- Medium Rib- Regular Kalbi- Top Blade(Dessert)- Almond TofuEverything was truly outstanding. The restaurant has a strong commitment to using only the upper half of heifers aged 36 months or older for their prime cuts like tongue and rib, resulting in exquisite flavors enhanced by their secret soy sauce and expert knife skills. The restaurant's signature Horumon dish features a perfect balance of Omasum, Heart, Horumon, and Uterus, all meticulously prepared to eliminate any unpleasant odors, offering a unique, tender, and crispy texture with rich umami. We enjoyed drinks like draft beer, Yoichi Highball, sour cocktails, and Japanese sake, Tanizake, and for five people, the total came to JPY 70,000, which is about JPY 14,000 per person—a miracle indeed. As expected from a holy site, we will return next year. It was a great meal! Less

Fast forward to a Friday night at 8 PM, and to my surprise, there was no line—what luck! Inside, there were a few empty tables. However, when I looked at the menu, I noticed that most dishes were priced over JPY 3000 per plate. It’s no longer in the range of typical town yakiniku prices (it wasn't cheap 20 years ago either). Also, they only accept cash for payment. While I appreciate the atmosphere, I might as well go to Jojoen in the city instead. Additionally, the liver served today was a bit mushy, which was disappointing. Less

Knowing it was a busy place, I prepared myself for a wait and decided to line up around 2 PM to catch the first wave of customers. It was my first time queuing for a yakiniku restaurant at this hour, but my expectations were high. While waiting, I could see a steady stream of customers arriving, which confirmed its popularity. However, by the time I was leaving, the line had calmed down significantly, and it seemed like I could have entered without waiting. The waiting time likely varies greatly depending on the time of day, so luck may play a part in your visit.Every dish was delicious, but the standout for me was the top blade (misuji). The marbling was just right, not greasy at all, and it melted in my mouth the moment I took a bite. At the same time, the rich flavor of the lean meat was evident, making its popularity understandable. The texture changed with the cooking level, so I savored each piece slowly.I was also impressed by the variety of horumon (offal) available. They had cuts that are not commonly seen, making it a paradise for offal lovers. Each piece had a different texture and fat content, allowing for a delightful comparison. The freshness was apparent, and there was hardly any unpleasant odor. After thoroughly enjoying the yakiniku, I indulged in their famous black bean almond tofu, which was also delicious. Even after the rich meal, it didn’t feel heavy and had a smooth texture, making it a perfect way to end the meal. It’s a nice bonus to feel satisfied even with dessert. The atmosphere inside was lively, but the staff moved efficiently, ensuring a relatively smooth turnover. Despite being a popular spot, it didn’t feel rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.Honestly, before lining up, I wondered if it was worth the wait, but by the time I finished eating, that feeling had vanished. While it’s not a casual place to drop by, once you try the food, you’ll understand why it’s so popular. If you love yakiniku, this is a must-visit restaurant. I highly recommend ordering the top blade and horumon, and don’t forget to enjoy the black bean almond tofu for dessert. Including the wait time, it was a memorable and highly satisfying experience. When I asked a staff member, they mentioned it was due to the rain today. Still, it didn’t seem like there was much of a wait as people online had suggested. As for the food, it was just average. In fact, the contrast with the atmosphere was too high! The taste was decent, but for around JPY 3000 per plate with only two pieces of meat, it didn’t feel worth it. The ambiance was too intense for a date, making it hard to relax. I kept my eating and drinking moderate, and ended up spending JPY 12000.I think the service was good. It felt like the restaurant was selective about its customers. The atmosphere made me think they wouldn’t serve good meat to first-time visitors.I realized that it would take both courage and funds to keep coming back to this place. Less
I visited the famous yakiniku restaurant "Stamina En" in Shikahama, Adachi Ward! It's not exactly close to the station, so it's more of a destination you want to go out of your way for rather than a casual stop. It's not exactly close to the station, so it's more of a destination you want to go out of your way for rather than a casual stop. The atmosphere inside is lively, reminiscent of traditional yakiniku places, and the smoke and heat from the grill really elevate the feeling of "I came here for yakiniku!" ✨The horumon (offal) dishes have a mild flavor, and the seasoning is a bit on the stronger side, which I really enjoyed with my drinks! By the way, we waited about 3 hours in line and successfully got a seat for the first round!◻︎ Beef Offal Stew This is a must-order dish! The stew is salty, but the umami of the offal really shines through, making it quite rich! The tender texture of the offal combined with the saltiness and umami makes it a perfect pairing with drinks.◻︎ Premium Tongue The premium tongue is thick yet has a nice crisp texture! When grilled, it releases a wonderful aroma, and the flavor of the tongue expands with every bite!◻︎ Salted Liver The salted liver is best enjoyed when not overcooked, resulting in a smooth interior! It has the unique richness and sweetness of liver, and the simple salt seasoning really highlights the quality of the ingredients.◻︎ Mixed Horumon The mixed horumon left a strong impression on me! Each part has its own unique texture, from the tender fat to the chewy bits, and the umami that comes out with each bite is delightful. The seasoning is robust, and grilling enhances the aroma! It pairs well with white rice, but personally, I would love to enjoy it with drinks! ✨ The preparation of the horumon is excellent, leaving little unpleasantness and just the pure umami.◻︎ Top Blade The top blade has a fine texture, and when grilled, the sweetness of the fat gently spreads! Not only is it tender, but it also has a rich flavor, leaving a refined aftertaste! It’s guaranteed happiness when served on rice! ◻︎ Special Outside Skirt The special outside skirt has a rich meat flavor that intensifies with each bite! When grilled to a nice crisp, it remains juicy inside, showcasing the robust character of the outside skirt!◻︎ Premium Red Meat The premium red meat is more about enjoying the flavor of the meat itself rather than being overwhelmed by fat! Eating it between bites of horumon and kalbi really highlights the goodness of the red meat!◻︎ Medium Kalbi Trimmings The medium kalbi trimmings are a dish where you can clearly enjoy the sweetness of the fat and the aroma of the sauce! The smell when grilled is delightful, making you crave rice! With the robust seasoning of the horumon, the meaty texture of the red meat and outside skirt, and the lively atmosphere of a yakiniku restaurant, I had a fantastic time! There’s a solid reason for the long wait, and I definitely want to visit this famous yakiniku spot again! ☺️❄︎ Ordered Menu - Mixed Horumon (JPY 2,900) - Top Blade (JPY 3,500) - Premium Tongue (JPY 3,200) - Special Outside Skirt (JPY 3,000) - Premium Red Meat (JPY 2,300) - Medium Kalbi Trimmings (JPY 2,400) - Salted Liver (JPY 1,800) - Beef Offal Stew (JPY 1,500) ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ Finally ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ Thank you for reading until the end! ✨ I also post about delicious and wonderful places on Instagram, so please come check it out! ✨✨✨ ⁂ Instagram Account Name ⁂ @gourmet_ryo_20s If you think it looks delicious, feel free to like, follow, and save! ✨ Less

I traveled to Tokyo with my friends just to eat at Stamina En. We waited in line for 3 hours, taking turns from 1 PM, and finally got in. Since there were five of us, we were able to enjoy a variety of dishes in small portions. I won't go into detail about the taste, as it's beyond evaluation, but it became a wonderful memory with my dear friends.
We started lining up around 4 PM on Sunday and were seated after about an hour. The liver and tongue were incredibly delicious! The side dishes of beef tendon with Japanese radish and the miso-stewed horumon were also exceptional! This is a town yakiniku restaurant with incredibly tasty meat.I’m completely full!!!

I visited on a Saturday around 9 PM. The place was bustling with many customers! The menu was extensive, with many creative options. The prices were very reasonable! I was a bit disappointed that the meat was thin. However, the cold noodles were delicious. I would love to come back again if I have the chance.

Not to my taste. If everyone really thinks this is delicious, then I must have a terrible sense of taste.I came in with high hopes for the offal, but it was just average, honestly. The outside skirt and tongue are also considered offal, but I didn’t have high expectations for those, so they were fine. I’m not sure, but it definitely doesn’t have the taste, price, or service that warrants waiting in line. Out of QSCPA, only C seems decent; I thought C was doing a good job.The presentation lacked any special touch, and the beer was bad. What is going on...I understand that regulars might get different cuts, but saying that even the Prime Minister can’t get a reservation is a lie. It’s clear that they can’t serve different meat without a reservation.I’m really disappointed. It’s their choice to change their methods or policies, but saying they don’t accept reservations is an exaggeration.Well, customers are honest, after all.The crowd in the restaurant speaks volumes.Oh, and the take-out Lu Rou Fan had no flavor either, haha. It quickly gained popularity, becoming a place where even the Prime Minister would line up to dine. Stamina En still does not accept reservations, as they want as many people as possible to enjoy their offerings equally. Although the staff may seem intimidating at first, they are genuinely warm-hearted. Interestingly, the owner, Masanobu, lost the use of his right hand in a meat processing machine during childhood. Despite this handicap, he worked tirelessly to build Stamina En into what it is today. Due to the need to cut meat with one hand, he has developed a physical imbalance that has caused severe damage to one of his legs. Yet, he never delegates tasks to other employees, which is why he is regarded as a legend. On this visit, I had the chance to try the "Tenjiku Course," a legendary menu item known only to regulars. The restaurant opens at 4 PM, but even lining up at 3 PM, we couldn’t get in during the first round, and we actually entered around 5:30 PM.On that day, there was a rare experience as well—famous YouTubers Terakado Jimon and Miyasako Hiroyuki were filming there, so we got to see the filming while waiting in line.Jimon passionately said, "If I’m here, it’s your lucky day! I’ve come on a day with great ingredients!" This really raised our expectations. We decided to order the cuts he was enjoying, including uterus, outside skirt, kalbi, mountain chain tripe, and liver… all of them were delicious. The freshness of the meat was impressive, but personally, I was struck by how well-seasoned everything was.We ordered the special premium loin later on. The beautifully marbled fat was incredibly sweet and spread throughout my mouth. I thought, "Ah, so this is Stamina En…" Another standout for me was the beef offal stew and fried eggplant. I love places that have such delicious side dishes. In the end, we ate and drank quite a bit for about JPY 15,000 per person for four people. Honestly, it didn’t feel like the best value for money, as it was on par with high-end yakiniku restaurants. However, the experience of waiting in line at a super popular restaurant, the atmosphere, and the live vibe made it worth visiting at least once.By the way, payment is cash only, so be careful. The staff seemed quite busy, but they were friendly and warm. I appreciated that there wasn’t the typical tense atmosphere you find in popular places. Also, around 8 PM, the line seemed to calm down a bit. It might be easier to get in during that time, but some cuts were sold out, which is a bit of a dilemma.Personally, it wasn’t a place I felt like I had to rush back to, but I was satisfied to finally visit a well-known restaurant I had been curious about. It was a great experience! Less

I was curious if the color was normal, so I ordered another plate, and the second one wasn't that bad.Overall, the meat was tasty, but considering the effort of waiting in line and the cost-effectiveness, I might not feel inclined to go back again. The restaurant opens at 5 PM, but I was determined to be the first to enter, so I lined up from 10 AM. At that time, the staff hadn’t even arrived yet, and by the evening, there was a long line with two full seatings. I was able to enjoy some items from the regular menu that I had checked out on YouTube. Looking around on the day, it felt like our group of seven ordered the most. I would love to visit again!
I visited on a Monday around 3:30 PM. After waiting for about two hours, I was seated at 5:30 PM. However, it seemed that arriving around 6:30 to 7:00 PM would have resulted in a shorter wait time. The portions of meat were quite generous overall, with enough for each person to have one serving of each cut along with rice, leaving us fully satisfied. What stood out to me was the way the meat was cut; the lean cuts had a texture and flavor reminiscent of well-marbled thigh meat, rather than just typical... Due to parenting responsibilities, it had been about three years since my last visit. I was both happy and sad to hear that Kido, who always provided excellent service, has opened his own place. While my choices are usually the same, I tried the Young Chicken and Chopped Kalbi for the first time. Both were delicious, especially the tenderness and seasoning of the Young Chicken—it was so good that I might just order it again, even though it was meant for the kids. The Beef Offal Stew is honestly at a godly level; I think this dish alone could keep the restaurant running. You absolutely must order it.Don’t forget to have rice on hand when enjoying the Special Kalbi.Prices have gone up quite a bit, but the food was still fantastic. I will definitely be back! Less

(I tried the real "Besscon Gourmet"! 3/5)We gathered in Akabane and walked to "Stamina En" to feast on meat! Today, we are making this dream-like plan a reality while chatting over drinks.First, we meet at Akabane Station. We hydrate at the standing bar "Ikoi Honten" and then head towards Adachi Ward, Kakamihama, with four of us walking together. While walking, we stop at a convenience store for more hydration, cheerfully making our way for an hour! We cross a river, pass over a highway, borrow a restroom, and finally arrive at our destination, of course, this place, "Stamina En."We arrived at 13:20 on a Saturday. There are about a dozen people in line, but as we get closer to opening time, the line seems to grow! With that thought in mind, we decide to wait.Everyone had done their homework about the restaurant (as expected), counting the number of people waiting accurately... 17 people... oh, we are 18!? Is it the second round? We chat while waiting in line. The opening time today is scheduled for 15:00. During this waiting time, we enjoy drinks (alcohol) from our water bottles and snack on side dishes from a nearby butcher shop. The shopping is handled by me and "kouzi116," the two younger members of our group. While waiting, menus are distributed, increasing our excitement! What do they have!? Fifteen minutes before opening, to ensure smooth service, they take our first order. (Additional orders can be made freely afterward.)As the opening time arrives, we are guided into the restaurant one by one. Inside, there are table seats with chairs, raised seating, and private rooms with flooring in the back. The four of us take off our shoes and are led to a private room on the floor. Hmm, the table is quite small...》》Inner voice《《I see, to sit at a table with chairs, I should have lined up much earlier!?Looking at the menu, we place our order.【Today's Menu】- Jyoji no Kuheiji Junmai Ginjo 900 JPY × 4- Oolong Highball 550 JPY × 8- Jyo Harami 2,700 JPY- Mixed Horumon 2,900 JPY- Beef Offal Stew 1,300 JPY- Kimchi 750 JPY- Potato Salad 650 JPY- Liver Salt 1,800 JPY- Chuu Rosu 2,400 JPY- Jyo Mino 2,000 JPY- Tomo Sankaku 3,500 JPY- Pork Feet 500 JPY- Kalbi Trim 1,900 JPY- Strawberry Almond Tofu 700 JPY × 4First, we start with the recommended sake from "parkpark!""Jyoji no Kuheiji Junmai Ginjo" When we order this for four, it is poured into a large cup!Since we can't toast in this situation, we start sipping slowly. The taste of the sake is sweet, and... hmm!? Is it tingling!? It’s not carbonated, but it has a slightly sparkling impression. This is delicious!【Jyo Harami】Oh, it arrives and is impressive! The thickness is incredible!!We grill the surface on the roaster, dip it in sauce, and take a bite... It’s very tender! The texture of the meat is like it’s falling apart, and the sauce is light and gentle—so tasty!【Mixed Horumon】Is this the representative dish of this restaurant!? The mixed horumon includes heart, uterus, colon, and omasum. All of them are fresh, and I think they could be eaten lightly grilled, but we grill them well! While grilling, I think... Each part has four or eight cuts. The kitchen knows the number of people at the table, so they plate the horumon to avoid any disputes.I wonder if this is the first time I’ve grilled omasum!? It seems like it could be eaten as is!? 【Beef Offal Stew】I chose a salt flavor that I don’t often encounter. When it arrives, it looks like there’s no broth!? No broth is fine, of course. When I serve it, various offals are included, with cuts prepared for grilling.I pick one up and take a bite... Hmm! It’s tender and delicious! The gentle saltiness isn’t overpowering, and the meat’s umami is the main flavor. And every piece I eat is tender, which is enjoyable due to the different textures of each part.》》Inner voice《《This offal stew looks delicious even grilled!? 【Kimchi】The napa cabbage is dressed in a vibrant red sauce! When I take a bite... Oh! It has a solid spiciness! But it’s not too spicy, and the umami is abundant! 【Potato Salad】This is a favorite dish of park! Of course, we ordered it!When it arrives, it looks busy... ٩( ᐛ )وWhen I try it, oh, it’s very cold! It’s a mix of mashed potatoes and half-mashed potatoes. The flavor has a hint of soy sauce!? It’s gentle and delicious!【Liver Salt】This is something that Jimon often shows, "The liver is stuck to the plate!" I tried to imitate it, but... it slips off.Cut into slightly smaller pieces, it cooks easily. I grill it over high heat, achieving a rare finish that is delicious.Hmm, the liver has a sweetness to it! Beef liver is so tasty!【Chuu Rosu】Now, I’m going for a proper cut of the roast. Every meat I eat is of very high quality, and I hesitated a bit, ordering "Chuu" instead of "Jyo."When it arrives, I’m surprised! Isn’t this "Jyo"!? The beautiful marbling looks like "Jyo" to me!It’s large, thick, and has a wonderful volume. I grill it on the roaster, giving it a nice sear. It’s a bit large, but I take a bite...Oh, this is it! I hate to say it, but it’s "incredibly delicious!" The right amount of fat and, of course, tender meat allow me to truly appreciate the meat’s flavor. What could be better than this meat!? I wonder what kind of meat that would be!? 【Jyo Mino】This is a part I personally like a bit! Again, this is cut into eight pieces, a multiple of four.I grill it well on the roaster, dip it in sauce, and enjoy...Wow, this is good! It has a crunchy texture, and the sauce doesn’t overpower it! Every meat I eat is so delicious!【Tomo Sankaku】This is pink meat! No, it looks almost white! The appearance is beautifully marbled with fat!The fatty meat is grilled on the roaster and served. When I dip it in sauce and enjoy...From the moment I bite into it, every chew releases the umami fat of the meat! Such meat disappears from my mouth too quickly, leaving me feeling a bit sad...It was incredibly delicious, the best meat!【Pork Feet】This is what I requested. I want to experience the pork feet from a delicious horumon restaurant! When the pork feet arrive, they are quite soft. There was no separate serving of vinegar miso, so I enjoy them with the yakiniku sauce. I see, this is also a delicious experience.【Kalbi Trim】We are being cautious with the prices and the restaurant... At this place, "Trim" Is this still delicious enough!? With that thought, I ordered kalbi. The meat that arrived doesn’t look like trim!? It looks like perfectly normal meat! Was the trim out of stock!? Is this what they consider trim today!? It’s not overly fatty, and the meat is delicious—excellent!【Strawberry Almond Tofu】Since I came to Stamina En, I might as well enjoy dessert too!A simple almond tofu would be boring!? Let’s add "strawberries!"The almond tofu that appears looks simple, and the strawberries seem homemade!? The sauce retains the acidity of the strawberries! The almond tofu has a simple flavor that isn’t too sweet, and the strawberry sauce is also very restrained in sweetness. After the rich yakiniku, this subtle flavor is just right. They really thought about the dessert too.【Today’s Recommendation】◎ Beef Offal Stew! The deliciousness of the meat is a given, but!? This stew resonated with me personally!【Postscript】⚫︎ Tabelog score at the time of visit: 4.28⚫︎ THE TABEROG AWARD 2022-2026⚫︎ Yakiniku Hundred Best Restaurants TOKYO 2021-2025- This time, I paid in cash.- It’s worth waiting in line to eat!- Please be mindful of morals while waiting... After a drink, we walked about 4 km and experienced the best gourmet food. Our destination was the famous Stamina En located at Shikahama Bridge. We left Akabane just after noon, picking up some drinks at a convenience store along the way, and arrived at the restaurant at 1:20 PM.There were 17 people ahead of us, but since we could line up as representatives, the first batch was a bit uncertain. While waiting, Akira-senpai and kouzi went to a nearby deli and brought back some roasted pork and fried horse mackerel, which we enjoyed with our drinks while we waited. As it got closer to the 3 PM opening, the staff came to confirm the number of people, and when we checked if we could be included in the first batch, they assured us it was fine, which was a relief. At 3 PM, the restaurant opened, and we were guided inside in order. We sat at a table for four in the back of the restaurant.Since we had already been asked about the meat while waiting, we started by ordering drinks. From the Japanese sake menu, we all ordered Junmai Ginjo from Kaoribito Kuheiji for JPY 900. It was surprising to see that other brands like Tanrei and Dassai, as well as Kubota Senju, were also priced the same at JPY 900.Here’s what we ordered:• Premium Outside Skirt - JPY 2700 The thickness and tenderness are remarkable, and you can really taste the sweetness of the fat.• Kimchi - JPY 750 A reasonable price with just the right amount of spiciness.• Potato Salad - JPY 650 The flavor of the egg really stands out.• Mixed Horumon - JPY 2900 Heart: my first time trying it outside of skewers. Omasum: my first time eating it. Horumon: delicious! Uterus: has a nice crunchy texture.• Medium Rib - JPY 2400 Just the right amount of fat and sweetness.• Salted Liver - JPY 1800 Please cook it well; it’s sweet and flavorful.• Beef Offal Stew - A very tasty side dish.• Salted Minow - JPY 2000 Just the right amount of chewiness; it’s rare to find such thickness.• Cut Kalbi - JPY 1900 Incredibly delicious.• Tri Tip - JPY 3500 As expected from a rare cut, the fat content is exceptional.• Pork Trotters - JPY 500 The first time I’ve ever eaten this; I was surprised by the gelatinous texture.• Strawberry Almond Tofu - JPY 700 (probably) A secret menu item; the almond tofu is dense and firm. The drinks we had included:• Junmai Ginjo from Kaoribito Kuheiji - JPY 900 It was my first time trying it, but it was easy to drink and paired well with the yakiniku.• Oolong Highball - JPY 550 A nice palate cleanser. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh offal and delicious meats. The sake was surprisingly offered at a great price for such quality. After eating and drinking a variety of dishes, the total came to JPY 7700, which was about half of what I expected. The spacing between tables was tight, so I couldn’t stretch my legs, and I was almost touching the person next to me, which was a bit concerning, but I decided to accept it.After leaving the restaurant, we initially started walking towards Kawaguchi Station, but soon called a taxi through park’s app to move on. It had a nice sweetness, quite different from typical beef offal stew. The mixed horumon had surprisingly no odor. The salt liver was tender and had a subtle milky flavor. All the types of meat were delicious even when grilled simply, as they were well-seasoned. It felt like a true artisan's yakiniku experience. The strawberry almond tofu had homemade jam mixed in. The texture of the almond tofu was soft and unique, but it wasn't quite to my liking. Due to a price revision, it seems to be about 1.5 times the information listed on Tabelog. While it was delicious, I was more impressed by the skill in the preparation. Less
Tabelog Silver yakiniku specialising in offal. Rarely have I eaten better offal which were marinated and thus tasted very good.
