I had always wanted to visit this popular yakiniku restaurant, and this time I went on a weekday. Knowing it was a busy place, I prepared myself for a wait and decided to line up around 2 PM to catch the first wave of customers. It was my first time queuing for a yakiniku restaurant at this hour, but my expectations were high. While waiting, I could see a steady stream of customers arriving, which confirmed its popularity. However, by the time I was leaving, the line had calmed down significantly, and it seemed like I could have entered without waiting. The waiting time likely varies greatly depending on the time of day, so luck may play a part in your visit.Every dish was delicious, but the standout for me was the top blade (misuji). The marbling was just right, not greasy at all, and it melted in my mouth the moment I took a bite. At the same time, the rich flavor of the lean meat was evident, making its popularity understandable. The texture changed with the cooking level, so I savored each piece slowly.I was also impressed by the variety of horumon (offal) available. They had cuts that are not commonly seen, making it a paradise for offal lovers. Each piece had a different texture and fat content, allowing for a delightful comparison. The freshness was apparent, and there was hardly any unpleasant odor. After thoroughly enjoying the yakiniku, I indulged in their famous black bean almond tofu, which was also delicious. Even after the rich meal, it didn’t feel heavy and had a smooth texture, making it a perfect way to end the meal. It’s a nice bonus to feel satisfied even with dessert. The atmosphere inside was lively, but the staff moved efficiently, ensuring a relatively smooth turnover. Despite being a popular spot, it didn’t feel rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.Honestly, before lining up, I wondered if it was worth the wait, but by the time I finished eating, that feeling had vanished. While it’s not a casual place to drop by, once you try the food, you’ll understand why it’s so popular. If you love yakiniku, this is a must-visit restaurant. I highly recommend ordering the top blade and horumon, and don’t forget to enjoy the black bean almond tofu for dessert. Including the wait time, it was a memorable and highly satisfying experience.
