Of course, I know Stamina En, a world-renowned restaurant. The meat is incredibly beautiful, and both the kimchi and the salted stew are delicious, even the gomtang (beef bone soup) looks exquisite. I remember the excitement and despair from 20 years ago when I took a taxi there during the peak of the yakiniku craze, only to find a long line at the parking lot. Fast forward to a Friday night at 8 PM, and to my surprise, there was no line—what luck! Inside, there were a few empty tables. However, when I looked at the menu, I noticed that most dishes were priced over JPY 3000 per plate. It’s no longer in the range of typical town yakiniku prices (it wasn't cheap 20 years ago either). Also, they only accept cash for payment. While I appreciate the atmosphere, I might as well go to Jojoen in the city instead. Additionally, the liver served today was a bit mushy, which was disappointing.
