Delicious serving of Australian wagyu tartar served with beetroot, dill sauce and smoked dashi. A very elegant and complex dish highlighting the delicate flavours of the precious beef. Another brilliant serving by @anton.gschwendtner @atelier_munich

Hamachi, caviar, ponzu gel, celery vinaigrette with pumpkin seed oil and roasted sesame seeds by @anton.gschwendtner served at ⭐️⭐️ @atelier_munich in Munich. A beautifully refreshing yet deep and concentrated dish with loads of umami 👌

Let’s go back to Munich to have a look at the splendid meal that I enjoyed @atelier_munich at the stunning hotel @bayerischerhof_munich - @anton.gschwendtner leads the kitchen with impressive confidence and the restaurant inarguably deserved its two Michelin stars.
In the picture, you see perfectly cooked venison served with blood pudding, Jerusalem artichoke and Madagascar pepper. Very good!

Tenía pendiente comentar una extraordinaria cena en Atelier (3*), en el lujoso Bayerischer Hof de Munich. Delicadeza, precisión técnica y elegancia son las señas de identidad de Jan Harwig que, además, practica una cocina arraigada en la gastronomía local. Riesgos muy medidos pero ejecuciones... More

2nd meal at Atelier, I went with high expectations and it was completely fulfilled. Excellent dishes with one exception different from the ones in had in November.

I really suck at prediction. For example I said that there will be no Brexit and no President Trump. However this time I stumbled across something which turned out to be correct. I was absolutely sure that Jan Hartwig, Head Chef of the Restaurant Atelier in Munich will get 3 stars, so sure that I made a reservation in July for a day which was likely just after the announcement of the German Guide 2018.
The excitement and therefore the potential for disappointment was great, but Mr. Hartwig delivered... More

After having learned his craft at Aqua for seven years, he now developed his one distinct style. The dishes are artfully and beautifully crafted, the flavours powerful. It is a classic cuisine at its best. The front office under the watchful guidance of Jochen Benz delivers a professional but friendly service which would be hard to improve. Wonderful. Less
