After the Faroe Islands I was heading for World’s 50 Best Restaurants Number 1 Mirazur in France but with a quick one night stop over in London so I got to pay another visit to one of my favourite spots in London, @maos.bms
I was interested to see how chef Eduardo @edoardopellicano had dealt with the restrictions put in place due to Covid as this was formerly a single communal table where the guests were encouraged to interact... More

Another visit a few weeks ago to @edoardopellicano ‘s communal table restaurant @maos.bluemountainschool Mãos in Shoreditch, London. Fantastic finish to the OAD week in London.

The best dinner of them all in the new venue of Nuno Mendes, the restaurant Mãos on Redchurch Street.
Almost a supper club, one table for 14 with a connected wine room and kitchen, the team around Nuno produces a stunning product driven menu with Japanese and Portuguese influences.
This will be most certainly one, if not the most important restaurant opening of the year in London.
I only can say GO THERE, befriend the team so you can book ahead... More
