Local one star place, very low key where people come with their families for a Sunday lunch. There is a kitchen counter but most of the people prefer the private rooms.
The food, as one would expect, is very local and seasonal. The flavour is restrained and focused. A very interesting dish was the grilled Hata-Hata fish which one eats Ayu style as a whole. Great value for money and wonderful Omotenashi. The Lady of house prepared a personalised menu in English and Japanese and comes around to explain each dish. At the one she gifts you with origami toy and of course the remainder of the rice as snack for later on. Less
