Zuberoa, located in a rustic Basque farmhouse on the outskirts of San Sebastián, a perfect place for some traditional roasted suckling pig and lamb. Other dishes have got some modern elements here and there, all well executed, definitely worth a visit. •

Unico 1961 — fresh and youthful, thanks to its evident VA to a certain extent (in a good way, not intruding at all). The vibrancy also brings out the fruit purity and structure of the wine, still got decades to go.
Unico 1966 — a bit tired compared to the 61, fruit profile is quite tertiary. Finish is a bit short for a wine of it caliber.

Zuberoa used to be the gold standard in San Sebastian. It is still very good and it has adjusted to modern taste and style. The cuisine is solid and the combination of flavours well calibrated. it used to be 2 stars and is now a 1 star restaurant. I agree with this assessment.
