Absolutely fantastic meal.
The building seems to be a container or prefab house, but the interior is tastefully decorated.

The boar ravioli with katsuobushi flakes on top were so good that I ordered a second portion. However, the outstanding meal was the local Rumpsteak from a local producer. It was soft, but with enough bite and released a stream of umami which made you simply happy.
The wine pairing is mostly Italian but very well selected. The Chef himself comes out to explain the wine and the dishes.
A wonderful hospitality added up to a great meal.
I think I will go back there in January.

Hiroyuki Anda cooked in San Sebastián with the greats like Martin Berasetgui and Andoni Luis Aduriz. And it shows. His food is very well balanced and very tasty. The outstanding dish was the chicken, a Poulet de Bresse. One of the best I have eaten.

My favorite standing only Yakitori. I am even happy to wait 30 minutes to get in at the opening.

A modern Kaiseiki restaurant, part of the Ichikawa group.

A very special kani in a broth of intense taste while main thing a fragrant smell.
The hospitality is great and the sake selection deep, tasty and satisfying. Less

Toshi keeps on delivering. As it is in season the menu started with the Shanghai crab, in perfect temperature and succulent, almost decadent.
The hammerhead shark fin with Foie Grass sauce is so rich and tasty. And in between one gets an array of vegetables which are so sweet that one thinks the have been rolled in sugar.

No photo Policy.
Third meal in the new location. Some changes. The window behind the counter was open and displayed a wonderful autumn forest.
The copper shield over the frying pans was replaced by a glass shield, allowing you to see the progress of the various pieces.
An the end, one moves into the tea room next door for a seated tea ceremony.

The food was great as ever, with some stunning pieces. One is always hard pressed to decided who is better, Naruse or his counterpart in Nagoya. Less
