Long standing Kaiseki place. We opted out of the kani menu as we had enough over the course of the season. The ingredients are excellent, fresh and well selected. As expected the treatment respectful and well crafted.
The interior is interesting as the kitchen is bigger than normal and very well designed.
Great place when in town.

A must when in Munich. 2000 seats on two floors, the best beer in town and Bavarian classic dishes well executed.

A highly rated Italian inspired kaiseki restaurant which uses in every course some expensive high end ingredients. Caviar, uni, truffel ect.
Overall not really convincing even so every course was very pleasant, but only this

Return for to the 400 year old kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto, serving seasonal food. All the dishes sue first class ingredients, the flavour are restrained to subtle, which makes this kind of meal extraordinarily light.
Wonderful lunch in great company.

Excellent French restaurant on the tip of the Noto Peninsula. The Chef trained in Paris at Robochon and it shows. Solid technique, interesting combination of ingredients result in very tasty flavor profiles. His saba (mackerel) taco which you roll up yourself tastes fantastic. High acidity in the fish is paired with vegetables with different textures and dusted with olive powder.
The buri was seasoned for one week, for me too long, as it created an unnecessary softness.
The standout this evening was the duck with potato purée in Robochon style. Flawless and so tasty.
The wine pairing alternates between wine and sake, is well priced and quite good.
If you have trip to Noto, make sure not to miss this place. Sample the local lacquer ware and call ahead and order an extra portion of the Robochon purée.

Private lunch at Takuzushi.
Excellent ankimo, presented like a foie gras. The aji and kohada nigiri were the outstanding pieces

Specialty ramen shop focusing on salmon ramen using a whole ramen. There are various versions, normal, without soup and a spicy one. One can also order rice with salmon and a pesto pasta.
