A visit a while ago to another of my favourite London restaurants, @daterrarestaurant . I truly believe that along with @solasoho , @theritzlondon , @kitchentable1 , @ikoyi_london , @alexdillingcaferoyal and @claudebosiatbibendum , this is one of the best restaurants in London. It’s interesting to note that all these one and two Michelin star restaurants are (IMO) head and shoulders out classing any of London’s three star restaurants. Again that’s very much just my own personal opinion. Da Terra is very highly recommended and you should definitely head over to Bethnal Green and try chef @rafacagali Rafael Cagali’s Brazilian and Italian influenced cuisine.

The cooking style is simple, with clean flavours using the highest quality of ingredients from sustainable and ethical suppliers. Plates are simple in appearance but full of flavour and respect for the best produce from Britain. Highly recommended and one of our absolute favourites in Birmingham.

Coincidentally I bumped in to @cal_byerley & @sian_byerley of the amazing
@restaurantpine up near Newcastle.
On that note I will now unashamedly brag about the time that I sat eating dinner at restaurant Pine and found it to be so good that I sent a message to the former Times restaurant critic Marina O'Loughlin (legend) who then visited Pine and wrote a stellar review that then resulted in... well I'm sure you know what a great review from Marina results in.
I was so happy to be sat next to Cal and Sian all evening as they really are the best people and so deserve every success at Pine.
The food at Kitchen Table keeps getting better and better. @jknappett and the team are doing a stellar job (I’ve been back a couple of times since this visit). It’s my number one recommendation if you’re in London 👌🏻

A tasting menu inspired by @missionsato Japanese & European roots, where everything is designed to provide a Kitchen-Theater like experience. Tasty stuff and the Sake pairing was very nice indeed.
