(SWIPE FOR MORE PICS) Of course there were desserts and the choices for me were once again torrija with vanilla ice cream and caramel (pic 1) and cheesecake (pic 2). The caramelised crust was not crispy type but the inside was super moist and sweet, very nice. Cheesecake was also better than Duna Saler in flavor and texture

Overall I like Casa Carmela ‘s food and I think I would choose a different paella next time. I felt that I probably made a wrong choice on the topping but the rice was definitely excellent and for paella, rice is THE key (just like for sushi shari is more important for me). While Duna Saler got gorgeous sea view, Casa Carmela won on the paella
