‘The jewel’
Dinner before Christmas at ⭐️⭐️ @hermanostorres in Barcelona. A pretty nice meal really, in a fantastic dining room where, in this converted industrial warehouse, the kitchen takes centre stage being surrounded on all sides by tables. I remember enjoying Dos Cielos years ago where the Torres brothers used to cook. Now on this much bigger stage they can really show off their style of cuisine which is based on cooking ‘through memories’ with dishes based on family recipes using seasonal, garden-fresh ingredients and contemporary techniques. With Joan Roca on the table to my right and probably Spain’s most respected restaurant critic Jose Carlos Capel on the table to my left, it was no surprise that the service was impeccable. Worth a look when in Barcelona
