Next stop on my best of Copenhagen mini tour was to ⭐️⭐️ @restaurantalchemist , and to my mind the best restaurant on the planet at the moment. Having visited around 10 times now it was great to experience it with 6 newbies. As @lykke_alchemist commented, it was like me and @hayhay_hailz were the calm and relaxed parents watching their 6 very excited kids running around on Christmas morning. 8 hours of incredible food, service and exceptional wines (🤯), experienced from the best seats in the house. @rasmusmunkalchemist is a true genius and as Ferran Adria said to the audience at the Gastronomika conference in Spain the other week, “the future of gastronomy”. High praise from arguably the most influential chef (certainly to our current generation of cooks) in the World. But I couldn’t agree more. Thanks again Rasmus for another exceptional and thought provoking meal.🙏❤️

A couple of visits a while ago to @maurocolagreco ‘s (Mirazur W50Best former number 1) newish venture @restaurantceto at the entirely new and stunningly designed Maybourne Riviera Hotel which is perched on the Roquebrune-Cap-Martín cliffs overlooking Monaco. These meals were really great, hence why I returned. As I’ve said before, I have struggled to find many excellent restaurants along the riviera and Ceto is a very welcome addition to a very short list.
They gained a Michelin star straight away and I was told that in the medium term they are gunning for three. I can believe that that is certainly achievable. I’ll be returning here a lot I think. Highly recommended.
