- Peter Chang added a new meal The best tempura in Taipei at Mudan Tempura
By far the best tempura I've ever had in Taiwan, and perhaps the best in Asia outside Japan! Extremely high quality ingredients, and the execution was superb. The scallop, lobster, and wagyu roll were among my highlights for the whole of 2023.

Tasting new dishes with Chef Guillaume Galliot while drinking bottles from his birth vintage. The dishes were fantastic, with some of the best duck he's ever served me.

First visit to the new Gaggan at Louis Vuitton in Bangkok, which features many classic dishes from the Gaggan days but many have now been "Monogrammed". A tasty meal as expected.

Finally got to do a full dinner here, with Gaggan and Vlad taking care of the ordering for me. Interesting to see both Indian and Mexican influence in the same dish from time to time. Casual and fun, and family-friendly.

Dinner with Gaggan and the boys at this popular chain serving Isaan dishes, with a focus on som tum, of course. The grilled and fried dishes are especially nice.

nice restaurant serving home-style Thai dishes done very well. Plenty of flavor without being too heavy-handed.

A fine dinner at this Kyoto kaiseki restaurant with 2 Michelin stars. Very seasonal ingredients, nicely executed, and I got to taste my favorite conger eel fry!
