- Neil A. Chef added a new meal 6th Dinner at Mirazur at Mirazur
Dinner last Thursday at ⭐️⭐️ Mirazur in Menton. Having visited Mauro Colagreco’s restaurant 6 times now over the years, its been a bit of a rollercoaster. Generally it’s good. You don’t reach #4 on the 50 Best Restaurant list by having a bad restaurant (although mediocre restaurants have been known to approach those heady heights

- Neil A. Chef added a new meal Dinner at Indian Accent at Indian Accent
Lunch earlier this week at the London outpost of Michelin starred Indian Accent. For refined and progressive Indian cuisine in London, this is at the top of the pile.
“Chef Manish Mehrotra reinterprets traditional Indian dishes with an openness towards global techniques and influences.”
With the 6 course lunch at £45 it is also great value.

- Neil A. Chef added a new meal Sunday lunch at Marksman at Marksman
Michelin named The Markman pub of the year in 2017 for good reason. We went for Sunday lunch as they are well known for a great roast and we were not let down.
They do 2 courses for £29 or 3 courses for £33 however, there is a 30 pound supplement for the rib of Hereford beef which we had.

After completing the Camino de Santiago de Compostela I was craving a nice meal and somewhere pleasant to celebrate and Casa Marcelo (the only michelin star restaurant in Santiago de Compostela) certainly hit the spot. A busy bustling restaurant with an open kitchen I sat at the kitchen counter. There is a single large communal table in the main restaurant seating maybe 30 people. The food I would describe as local ingredients cooked in an Asian style. Although I hate the word fusion, this is definitely an accurate description here. Bacalao dim sum for example.
The pictures here are from two visits on consecutive days as I was dining alone and wanted to try as much of the tapas style menu as possible. They were happy to give me half portions of each dish that the chefs chose for me. Very good value with both meals coming in at under €47 with beer.
The prices quoted on each dish are for a full portion, the photos are of my half portions. Less
