Dinner last year before Christmas at @svenhansonchef Sven-Hansen Britt’s long awaited opening @oxeyerestaurant in Embassy Gardens. I remember Sven coming runner up on Masterchef years ago and thinking that his cooking was some of the only cooking I had seen on @masterchefuk that actually interested me and that I would have liked to see in a restaurant. Well finally that day has come after what seems to have been a very protracted opening project. I did try his cooking at @carousel_ldn ,the London pop up restaurant, a while back and was impressed.
Anyway, the meal was great.
A menu using produce from around the British Isles was served to the six table dining room. All delicious and I’m guessing they are firing on all cylinders now. Can’t wait to go back.
