The ham comes from local Duroc pigs from the peninsula of Røsnæs. @slagterjacob receives the fresh hams and ages them for at least two years. The result is an incredibly sweet, nutty taste and a buttery texture that I haven't experienced in any other Danish ham (feel free to send me your recommendations). I can highly recommend you to pay Kalundborg a visit to get a taste of this wonderful product .
