4) White kimchi

Apples with summer herbs and elderflower oil. If you look at the base of the bowl, you can see a separate and distinct piece underneath. This fragment comes from China, dating back between the 14th and 16th century, when Korea was under Sino rule. The Seoul-based ceramicist who made the bowl repurposed these broken and historic pieces of pottery, giving them new life as well as tying the past to the present 🇨🇳 🇰🇷
