Until @michelinguide withdrew from Austria (except from Vienna and Salzburg) in 2009 Landhaus Bacher by @thomas_dorfer in the Wachau held two Michelin stars. Based on my meal there a few weeks ago, he would probably have three by now. Everything was executed perfectly, every dish made sense and the level of deliciousness was insane. This dish with puntarelle, pine nut butter, bell pepper and honey gel was a fresh yet deep and complex way to kick of the menu. Vielen Dank, Thomas! .
