Last year, I had the honor of visiting @domperignonofficial for the release of the legendary 2008 vintage. The other night I got to taste it again at a great event held by @sharewine_com at Enomania. This Champagne shows so much potential and is in my opinion one of the best prestige cuvées from 2008 with its deep minerality, round nut and butter aromas as well as a shining bright acidity. I have plenty of good foodie friends who regularly visit the classic Italian restaurant Enomania at Vesterbro in Copenhagen. Yesterday, I paid my second visit to the restaurant and I must admit that this is traditional Italian cooking and a stunning level. Perfectly runny risotto with plenty of grated lemon zest, fried capers and a juicy scallop on top. Bravo! .
