Between 1846 and 1914, about 30,000 German immigrants arrived in Chile. They brought some of their traditions with them, for instance the Bierstube. Fuente Alemana - The German Fountain - is a result of that. They serve German beer and crazy sandwiches like this pork fillet version called lomito italiano due to the avocado, mayonnaise and tomato shaping the Italian flag. It is a really old school place full of energy, especially thanks to the energetic, mature women running the place .
