Unico 1961 — fresh and youthful, thanks to its evident VA to a certain extent (in a good way, not intruding at all). The vibrancy also brings out the fruit purity and structure of the wine, still got decades to go.
Unico 1966 — a bit tired compared to the 61, fruit profile is quite tertiary. Finish is a bit short for a wine of it caliber.

2016 Dominio del Aguila Albillo — one of my favorite Spanish white wine. Had the pleasure to visit the winery the day before, loved the winemaking style and philosophy. The 2016 shows some reduction and lees characters, electrical mineral palate with hint of saline. Amazing energy and tension, still got so much aging potential. The depth and length are definitely premier cru worthy.
2007 Gantenbein PN — a rare find in Spain (or outside of Switzerland for that matter). Mineral and earthy with good freshness with its typical spicy, herbal notes. More savory and meaty than other vintages I’ve had before.
