Edomae Shinsaku 2nd visit — highlighting some early spring flavors (shirauo, fukinoto) and the signature super sweet mekuin (May Queen) potato. Finishing with both maguro chazuke and kakiage tendon was quite filling.•

A solid meal at Edomae Shinsaku 江戸前晋作, the chi ayu and eggplant were the best I’ve had so far this year. The May Queen potato was crispy on the outside while the texture inside was almost like mochi, delicious. •
