Mikawa Zezankyo みかわ是山居 1st visit — for many people chef Satome san is to tempura as Jiro Ono is to sushi. In his 70s, Satome san’s style is quite traditional and rustic. Highlights were shirako and anago. To be honest I prefer the lighter and more modern style for tempura but huge respect for the chef. •
