Ginza Giovanni ジョヴァンニ 1st visit — original dishes, high quality ingredients, perfect combination of Italian and Japanese elements. Loved the 24 months aged prosciutto first served as nigiri and then on top of freshly fried torta fritta — the temperature of the torta brings out the umami of the prosciutto; and the saltiness of the prosciutto complements the sweetness of the torta.
Fun and relaxed atmosphere, the chef really takes good care of his customers. Interesting chemistry among the staff. •
