A delicious lunch at The 8, with a range of cute-looking dim sum items as well as a suckling pig stuffed with fried rice. The main focus of the meal, however, was to drink very old German rieslings from the hotel's incredible wine list.

The food at Vicky Lau's Tate Dining Room has always been interesting and fairly delicious, and this dinner was no exception - featuring the "All the Odes" menu.
Unfortunately there were so many screw-ups in terms of service that my anger is simmering the whole evening. Will not return.

A pretty good dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Highlights included a modern take on Taiwanese boudin noir, a Taiwanese take on pot au feu, and a delicious beancurd dessert.

Another fabulous lunch with the winter menu, and service with all 7 trolleys! The roast Maine lobster with spiced bisque was fantastic. The Challans duck/foie gras duo tournedos Rossini was beautiful.

Ho Hung Kee is among the minority of places serving dim sum items at night, and they do it pretty well. I decided to forgo my usual order of stir-fried noodles and got some steamed buns and dumplings instead.

Ridiculous menu where the chef put buckwheat on every single plate. Sure, some of the food was reasonably tasty, but others had flavor combinations which didn't work. And why do we need buckwheat everywhere???

With new chef Patrick Leano's arrival, the menu has returned to classic dishes and away from "creative", "modern", or playful items. Some customers will be happy to see classic "grill" dishes return to the menu.
