- Peter Chang added a new meal Lunch at 100 Mahaset at 100 Mahaseth
First time trying out the nose-to-tail Isaan cuisine. Ordered deep-fried and grilled dishes, and all were interesting/tasty.

Lucky to have been invited by Herr Huber for a dinner here, which was worth my detour from Seoul.
Amazing ingredients here, some of which were the best example of those ingredients I had ever tasted. Flavors were very pure.

Photos are allowed (at least in the private room) but for private consumption only. So I'm not posting any pics of dishes.

A fine dinner at this Kyoto kaiseki restaurant with 2 Michelin stars. Very seasonal ingredients, nicely executed, and I got to taste my favorite conger eel fry!

First visit to Eatanic Garden, serving modern Korean cuisine curated by a chef whose background is French cooking.
The flavors seem to be on point, at least to my still-uneducated palate. Good use of seasonal ingredients, with the obligatory story-telling which seem fine. Dish construction is very modern and pleasing to the eye - and certainly geared... More

Very happy with this meal. Would love to return in other seasons.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Nice experience at VINHO at VINHO
going through their tasting menu at this wine bar with a Michelin star. Some very nice bites, and a good wine pairing that isn't stuffed full of "natural wines".

- Peter Chang added a new meal HUGE lunch at Born & Bred at Born and Bred
Returning to Born & Bred after 7 years, now at their expanded location. This was another speakeasy experience with Chef Min taking care of us, and portioning so that we don't get killed with food.
For me, this remains the temple of Hanwoo that beef lovers should worship at.

An amazing collaboration among 3 restaurants where the chefs worked to bring elements of Korean, Cantonese, and Malaysian cuisines into each dish.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Classic Korean dinner at Kwonsooksoo
A very tasty and interesting dinner featuring classic Korean cuisine. There is a kimchi cart - featuring 6 different kimchi that is found nowhere else - where diners can choose from (but only 2!)

- Peter Chang added a new meal Lunch at Wooga at Wooga
A specialist at aging Hanwoo beef. Lunch can be a simple affair with their bibimbap, where the big ball of beef tartare is torched on the outside before mixing into the rice and the vegetables.
Seoul-style bulgogi - where it's cooked with mushrooms and noodles in broth - is also a good option. Save some of the beef for the ciabatta.
