- Peter Chang added a new meal Lunch with friends at Sushi Saito at Sushi Saitou (鮨 さいとう) with Gerhard Huber and Tomoko Morikawa
Kashikiri at Saito, and I was able to invite a few friends along. It's been more than 3 years since I was last able to come to Sushi Saito in Tokyo, and I'm so happy to be back.
Amazing quality as always. And I brought along a magnum of Champagne... so we ended up with 3 magnums for 10 people at lunch!

First time at this reputed rising star. It's been so long since I last had a great tempura meal, and this was definitely what I had been looking for. Very light batter, great ingredients, just fantastic!

Chef Ricardo made good on his threat to serve me tacos with chicken ass, plus another that made me very, very happy. Signature "monkbread" as good as ever.

first visit to the well-regarded restaurant, but possibly the last time I try chef Nobu's cooking here.
Definitely one of the better French restaurants in Taipei and chef's reputation is well-deserved.

Banquet for 20 with a customized menu chosen by me. First time at this restaurant which has a good reputation for serving arguably the best Cantonese fare in Taipei.
Maybe I didn't order the right dishes, but execution was definitely off on a couple of key dishes. They should have spent more time cooking some of the ingredients.
