A real surprise at dinner while checking out this outpost of a 2-star from Pamplona. Modern Spanish / molecular cuisine is my favorite style of cuisine when it's done when, and I couldn't believe there is this little gem right in Taipei!
Everything was just so refined. Visually pleasing and satisfying to the palate. Will definitely come back.

First meal at the newly-opened restaurant helmed by Vincent Thierry, who came from 3-star Caprice in Hong Kong.
It was very clear that Vincent is back on top of his game, and in fact he's gone up a level since his days at Caprice. More Asian flavors infused into classic French cuisine, and it all worked very, very well.

I would be very surprised if this is not the first restaurant in Bangkok to take 3 Michelin stars.

Godenya has always delivered beautifully dishes paired with interesting sake, and these days the cuisine has been getting better and better. On this particular evening the dishes seemed particularly succulent and delicious.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Feeding a village at The Chairman at The Chairman
another dinner here with way too much food, as two crab dishes were ordered, on top of a giant grouper head.

An excellent kaiseki-style dinner featuring Japanese beef in almost every course. It's amazing what Ito-san can do with beef. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Kyoto.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Tasty dinner around a communal table at Goh (Goh)
A nice dinner at the new Goh, with 14 diners seated around a communal table. Half the crowd this night were tourists.
Chef uses plenty of local ingredients and sometimes bold flavor combinations. The curry rice at the end is particularly good, and is a result of Goh-san's years of collaborations with Gaggan Anand.

- Peter Chang added a new meal First dinner at Amber 2.0 at Amber
First dinner at the revamped Amber, where they've taken out all dairy and refined sugar, and cut the carbs. Interesting to see this direction they have taken, and overall a pretty good meal.

- Peter Chang added a new meal Dinner at The Chairman with Mr. OAD at The Chairman
Amazing dinner here when Mr. Plotnicki gets treated as the VIP that he is. The kitchen brought out the 26-year old preserved lemon for the razor clams, which they don't use for just anybody.
