You can drop by on a weekday for a casual meal or better yet, splurge for the Chef’s Table on the weekend. The space is cozy, almost too much at times, though the closeness is mostly comforting, never cloying. You have room to maneuver and breathe. No matter which table you sit at, you are always at the center of the conviviality. This neo-bistro is both a neighborhood stop and a worthy dining destination for foodies residing outside of Georgetown 🇫🇷
Lutece knows its identity and cooks according to its strengths with a tendency to maximize every ounce of flavor from their seasonal products. And what amazing produce they get from the surrounding areas. You likely will relish the vegetables as much as the fish or meats. My preference is to come early and order more than what I think I can eat. When the food is this good, my appetite—I hope yours as well—will often expand to accommodate as many courses as possible 😋
