(SWIPE FOR MORE PICS) Although I had written about most of the restaurants I visited in Copenhagen last year, I found myself having a hard time finding restaurants open for lunch between Monday - Thursday. Luckily Copenhagen has amazing bakeries and cafes. It is almost hard to find bad bread and coffee. These are some pastries I tried at Juno in the past. Pic 1-5 were cardamom bun, croissant and pistachio “snegl” (snail). Cross section of croissant (pic 2-3) was very legit, cardamon buns (pic 4) were unbeatable, the snail (pic 5) was crispy and crusty pastry (actually I like this more than the one at Du Pain et des Idees in Paris because of the pistachio paste in between the layers.
