Denmark’s oldest pastry shop with warm service by a super charming staff. The selection is quite vast, so plan on repeat visits to taste as many desserts as possible. This is the kind of place you order tea and linger to savor each sweet bite. Rushing would seem like an affront to the delightfully old-fashioned sensibility of this Copenhagen institution ❤️🇩🇰

On my first visit, I tried the baked tarts which were all superb 🤤😋

1) Sensommert – apple, compote, vanilla custard, marzipan, shortcrust pastry

2) Werners Valset – rhubarb compote, macaroon base, shortcrust pastry

3) Nøddebo Præstet – hazelnuts and walnuts baked in muscovado sugar and butter in a nut-filled shortcrust pastry
