The all-new @pineappleandpearlsdc is like a Studio 54 party reimagined for today. The décor is chic not kitschy with a festive atmosphere designed to induce frolic and fun. Yes, everything is still fancy af. But as before, as always, perhaps forever, none of it is stuffy formality. Notice the staff decked out in dinner jackets over t-shirts depicting pop culture from the heyday of the ‘80s and ‘90s. The nostalgia—and the throwback playlist—will make you smile early and often. This is retro styled up in grand fashion 💃🕺
The choose-your-own-adventure theme, tested and popularized next door @rosesluxury, carries over here but with higher-end ingredients and more technical execution. You need to make four choices but overthinking is not necessary. All paths will lead to a happy ending. As for attire, no outfit is too outlandish, birthday suit excepted. Maybe. So come dressed to the nines and look as glam as you want; Pineapple and Pearls will provide the glitter. This is orchestrated hedonism without the risk of arrest. And pictures or it didn’t happen, right? Don’t worry, you’ll get that Polaroid on your way out 📸

This is one of the most eye-catching courses on the current menu. Think of it as vegetarian bone marrow served in a vessel of locally sourced bamboo. The egg custard bears the color of clay, but don’t let the unusual hue turn you off. The taste is wonderful with a remarkable satiny texture. Piled on top is earthy wild mushrooms, young ginger, candied hazelnuts, kumquat, shiso, and bergamot flowers. This dish was a favorite of the evening 🤤👏😋
