Despite the casual look, don’t mistake this for fast food. Yes, some of the offerings are reminiscent of Jollibee, the international Filipino chain. That’s intentional. But this is also cuisine executed by two Filipino-American chefs with serious pedigree, drawing influence and inspiration from family, memories, and nostalgia. Though modest in appearance, it proudly and respectfully embodies Pinoy culture. The fast-casual food is meant to invoke comfort.
