- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at Canlis at Canlis
Canlis. My first visit in years. Honestly, it was a really good time. The food is smart, modern, and executed perfectly. A total change from past visits. The service is as on point as ever. I’ll definitely be back sooner than later.

- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at wa'z at Wa'z Seattle
Another beautiful kaiseki meal at @wazseattle. We’re so lucky to have them in Seattle. This month’s grilled course, the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu with red miso, was particularly excellent.

- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at スガラボ at SUGALABO (SUGALABO)
Sugalabo, February. Excellent, as always. Impeccable ingredients, perfect technique. @yosuke_suga is indisputably a master.
Great wine pairings as well, including Chave Hermitage by the glass - always a treat.

- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at GENEI . WAGAN ゲンエイドットワガン at GENEI.WAGAN
Interesting concept - an underground (literally and somewhat figuratively as well) ramen-based course menu. Started with a bit of an education on dashi, with and without soy added. A few tasty dishes followed, then an excellent bowl of ramen. Apparently each time you visit, you get a totally different ramen. Only way to try them all is to keep going...... More

Sushi Saito, February. Excellent visit. I generally don’t take nigiri pictures, but that uni deserved it.

- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at 曙橋 まる富 at Kagurazaka Marutomi
A really lovey little kaiseki dinner at Marutomi in Shinjuku-ku, in February. Early bamboo shoots and excellent beef were highlights. Quite reasonable as well.

- Justin Hurst added a new meal Dinner at Embla at Embla
Ocotopus, asparagus, and some killer Riesling. Typical bar food. Thanks as always, @amaru_melbourne, for being that spot I wish I had near my house.
