Just opened a new counter around the corner from the 2nd shop on the same floor. Different interior aesthetics and a somewhat unusual layout (with the back kitchen not connected to the counter at all). Decent quality with some nice otsumami, but not as inspiring as even their 2nd shop. Comfortable setting with a huge counter though and a fair number of sakes on offer. Just opened, so perhaps need to give it a bit of time before the taisho... More

Kioicho Mitani. Very, very good sushi, excellent otsumami.

Kioicho Mitani. Top level sushi in a very airy, modern space. The Tsumami alone were stunningly high quality. In fact, that first bowl uni and hamaguri soup could have been the whole meal, and I’d have been good. Of course, the sushi was excellent, and they famously hand it directly to you, not on the plate.
