Favorites and some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, thanks to breakfast at @lostacosazules_jp!

* Signature Crispy Pork Carnitas topped with Chicharrón
* THE BEST Chilaquiles: Crispy fried tortilla chips doused with special chicharron, salsa, and cheese.
* Wild and very limited Thick cut Tankaku-gyu beef lengualimited availability)
* Quesadilla filled with Oaxaca cheese from Hokkaido.
* Barbacoa stewed in salsa verde with cactus.

Some of the best Mexican ive ever tried! Breakfast at the very charming Los Tacos Azules serving Traditional Mexican using the produce of Japan which expectedly is the perfect combo! @lostacosazules_jp

Super fun collaboration between @tacosbar_jp and @adi_tokyo, exploring the similarities and resonances between two very geographically distant cuisines. Hats off to both chefs for putting together a thoughtful, unique menu for the night.

Sansho salsa verde, chorizo, bamboo shoots

筍と山椒のチョリソーベルデ
山椒のサルサベルデ、チョリソー、筍。

和の食材を全く違和感なくメキシコ料理に取り入れているのが見事。

日本でしか、そして当店でしか食べれない、イノベーティブなメキシコ料理。

A Mexican transfer student falls in love with Japan, goes home and decides to move to Tokyo to open a taco restaurant. To learn the local ingredients he studies in a Japanese cooking school.
Now he runs his own taco restaurant and comes up with some very interesting and tasty tacos.
Go there with a friend and order the entire menu.

Chile Relleno
チレ・レジェーノ

山羊のチーズを詰めて揚げたチレ・ポブラーノ。

チレ・ポブラーノは日本産だそうで、土壌が異なるからか、メキシコ産に比べて甘みが出るそう。

辛さは山羊のチーズに中和されるので、程良い。

辛味よりも爽やかな香りが印象に残る。
