Considered the World’s Rarest Pasta as only a handful of people (almost exclusively from the Sardinian province of Nuoro) have truly mastered it! Su filindeu, aka the “threads of God,” is incredibly time-consuming and difficult to prepare, with delicate threads of pasta arranged to look like woven fabric. For the past 200 years, it has been a sacred dish, served only to those who complete a 33km pilgrimage in Sardinia.
