Magical dish I’ve been wanting to try for years, and it didn’t disappoint! The iconic Mixed Pasta Soup with Shellfish and Rockfish from Torre del Saracino takes many painstaking hours to prepare. It’s packed with over a pound of the freshest rockfish, shrimp, squid, and prawns, all cooked down into a seafood stock, then pressed in a French duck press to squeeze out every bit of flavor. Some San Marzano tomatoes are added, along with 15 different pasta shapes, perfectly cooked al dente inside... More

It’s packed with over a pound of the freshest rockfish, shrimp, squid, and prawns, all cooked down into a seafood stock, then pressed in a French duck press to squeeze out every bit of flavor. Some San Marzano tomatoes are added, along with 15 different pasta shapes, perfectly cooked al dente inside the soup as it absorbs all the seafood goodness from the broth. It’s worth the trek for this dish alone, but if that’s not enough, the view and the Baba Rhum, made according to Neapolitan tradition, are just a few more reasons this place is worth the visit! Less
Anniversary dinner
Perhaps our expectations were too high but the special tasting menu we have chosen was not the standard we are used to in 2 Michelin starred restaurants. Nothing was particularly wrong, but none of the dishes were anything to remember of. The owner/chef came out towards the end of the service, greeted all guests, but never made it to us. There are only 6-7 tables so we felt a little weird. Not professional. The cellar and the wine selection is amazing, the sommelier is very friendly... More
